Programs structured for the role you are aiming at

Each Hancdiv program has a defined graduate profile — a precise description of what you will be able to do on day one of the job it prepares you for.

How Hancdiv structures its programs

Hancdiv operates four core program streams: Professional Practice, Technology & Data, Leadership & Strategy, and Communication & Media. Each stream contains one to three discrete qualifications, ranging from six-week intensives to twelve-month advanced certificates. All programs share a common architecture — a foundation module establishing the professional context, a core skills sequence, an applied project component, and a structured career-readiness module. This architecture makes credit transfer and program-stacking straightforward for students who want to build progressively toward a higher qualification.

Flexible delivery without compromising depth

All Hancdiv programs are available in blended format — synchronous online sessions combined with self-paced study and optional in-person workshops at our York Street campus in Sydney's CBD. Students working full-time typically allocate 8 to 12 hours per week. Hancdiv does not offer asynchronous-only programs: real-time faculty interaction and peer collaboration are considered non-negotiable components of a Hancdiv qualification. If you need a course you can complete entirely at your own pace with no scheduled sessions, our programs are not the right fit.

Common questions about Hancdiv programs

Do I receive a formal qualification at the end?

Yes. Each program issues a Hancdiv Certificate of Advanced Professional Practice, which is a nationally recognised qualification registered on the Australian Qualifications Framework at the relevant level. Some programs also include partner-issued micro-credentials from industry bodies.

Can I transfer credit from a previous qualification?

Credit recognition requests are assessed individually by our academic team. Students with relevant prior learning — formal qualifications, workplace training, or prior study — can apply for recognition at the point of application. Approved credit reduces the required contact hours accordingly.

Are programs available to students outside Sydney?

Yes. The blended delivery model means students anywhere in Australia — and, for some programs, internationally — can participate fully via our online platform. In-person workshops are optional; no program requires physical attendance to complete.

How large are cohorts and when do they start?

Cohorts are capped at 18 students. New intakes open quarterly — in February, May, August, and November. Enrolment closes when the cohort is full, so early application is advisable for popular streams.
